Architectural Review Board

Any change to the external appearance of property within Hollymead requires prior approval of the Architecture Review Board.  Such changes include, but are not limited to, fences, sheds, house color changes, and substantial landscaping changes.  To request a change, fill out the ARB Application Form.  Residents of Somer Chase should contact the Somer Chase ARB.

APPROVED

We plan to repair our sidewalks. They are currently brick, with many lose or uneven. We would like to replace with poured concrete. Additionally, there are shrubs along the side of our home which cannot be trimmed and lay against the house, causing mildew issues. We would like to remove those. Response asap appreciated. Trying to get our home more handicapped friendly so that my wheelchair bound mother can see my new home. Many thanks.

APPROVED

Remove existing small from porch entry way that is original to the house.  Remove existing sidewalk that is original to the house.  Remove boxwoods by the sidewalk. Install new front porch of same size using Trex decking.  Install new concrete sidewalk, that will be one foot wider and curved for a more appealing appearance. Add landscaping around sidewalk that is easier to maintain. Work is being done by Hollymead resident Tim Duggins, Quality Home Details.
