About HCA

HCA is the homeowner's association for Hollymead residents.  All residents, including those of Somer Chase, are members of HCA, which is governed by an elected Board of Directors.  Elections are held once a year in April.  The primary responsibilities of the Association are to manage common grounds, staff the Architectural Review Board, and manage the pool.

All homeowners are responsible for paying yearly HCA dues.  The dues are used to pay for common ground maintenance and other expenses that the association incurs.

Bulk Trash Pickup!

Allied will pick up bulk items on April 25th. There is a 50 lb maximum weight for each item.

Lake Sediment Survey

TEC Inc. was contracted by the Hollymead Citizens Association and Forest Lakes Community Association to conduct a sediment survey of Hollymead Lake, which is jointly owned and maintained by the Associations. The Associations have become concerned that sediment from development sites has caused the lake to become silted-in to the point that dredging will be required to restore it to acceptable depths.  On Tuesday, July 10, 2007 twelve core samples were collected and logged.  Here is the the final report (note - this file is extremely large - 50MB).  An abbreviated report with results, conclusions, and recommendations can be viewed here.

Reserve Study

The HCA Inventory and Reserve Study that was completed in Nov 2006 is now available on-line. See the Forms and Docs page.
